What makes Hi Betty different?

Hi Betty is lifestyle-led swimwear for women who want to feel confident, comfortable and like themselves in motion. Our pieces are flattering, easy to wear and designed for real life near the water - swim, sun, travel, beach walks and slow days that turn into everything else. We focus on soft fabrics, considered cuts and a grounded kind of confidence.

Is Hi Betty only for surfers?

No. Hi Betty is not a surf-only brand. Our swimwear is made for women who live around water and movement in many ways - swimming, walking, travelling, stretching, resting, chasing kids, resetting by the ocean and choosing themselves again.

Is Hi Betty swimwear suitable for movement?

Yes. Our pieces are designed to move with your body for swim, sun and everyday coastal life. Some styles offer more coverage or support than others, so choose based on how you like to move and how much hold you prefer.

What is EcoForm Blend?

EcoForm Blend™ is our recycled, ultra-soft fabric direction. It is chosen for comfort, stretch and a smooth feel on the skin, while supporting our aim to create more considered pieces with less reliance on virgin materials.

How does RealForm Sculpt™ fit work?

RealForm Sculpt™ is our fit philosophy: flattering stretch that moves with curves, muscle and real bodies. The goal is to feel held without feeling restricted - supportive, comfortable and easy to wear.

How do I choose the right size?

Start with your usual size and check your bust, waist and hip measurements against our size guide. If you are between sizes, we usually suggest going up for comfort, especially in styles with a firmer fit or cheekier cut.

How should I care for my Hi Betty Pieces?

Rinse in cold water after swimming in salt or chlorine. Hand wash gently with mild soap and lay flat to dry in the shade. Avoid tumble drying, wringing and rough surfaces to help keep the fabric smooth.

Orders & Shipping

How long will it take for my Hi Betty order to arrive?

We aim to ship orders within 1-2 business days. Within Australia, standard delivery is usually 2-5 business days. International orders can take around 7-14 business days, depending on location, customs and local carriers.

How can I track my Hi Betty order?

As soon as your order is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking link in your inbox. Follow your parcel in real time — from our warehouse to your door. If the link gives you any trouble, simply visit our [Returns + Orders page], enter your order number, and all the details will be right there.

Do you ship internationally? 

Yes. Hi Betty ships worldwide. Orders over AUD $100 ship free. For orders under that amount, shipping will be calculated at checkout. Please note that customs duties or import taxes may apply in some countries and are the responsibility of the customer.

What if my order is delayed or lost in transit?

If your tracking has not updated or your parcel seems delayed, contact us with your order number and we will help investigate with the carrier. If a parcel is confirmed lost, we will work with you on a replacement or refund.

Can I change or cancel my order after it's been placed?

We get it — sometimes you change your mind. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, shoot us your order number as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to update or cancel it.

 

Once your parcel has left our hands, we can’t make changes — but you can always start a return once it arrives. 

Returns & Exchange

Can I return my order?

Yes. We offer a 30-day return window from the day your order arrives. Items must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached and hygiene liners intact. Returns are started through our returns portal using your order number.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

Head to our [Returns Page] for returns only, enter your order number, and follow the steps. If you would like to exchange please email contact@hi-betty.com, or DM us on our socials. Once we receive your item back in its original condition, you can choose a refund, store credit, or an exchange for a different size or style.

Are sale items returnable?

Items purchased on sale or with a discount of 20% or more are final sale for refunds, but may be eligible for exchange or store credit at our discretion. Keep this wording consistent across the FAQ, product pages and refund policy.

Are shipping costs for returns covered by Hi Betty?

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping fees are non-refundable. If an item is deemed faulty or you’ve received the incorrect item, Hi Betty will cover return shipping and organise a replacement or refund.

How long does it take to process a return or exchange?

Once your return reaches us, we usually process it within 3–5 business days. Refunds are sent back to your original payment method, but depending on your bank it may take a few extra days to show up.

 

For exchanges, we’ll ship your new item as soon as your return is processed and you’ll get a fresh tracking link straight to your inbox.
