What makes Hi Betty swimwear different from other brands?

Most bikinis are built for lounging. Ours are built for living. Hi Betty pieces are designed for women who actually move — paddling out, diving under, stretching on the sand. Every style is surf-tested to stay put (no awkward adjusting mid-wave), cut to flatter without squeezing, and made from buttery-soft recycled fabrics that feel good in every way. It’s swimwear that looks incredible, but more importantly — it works when the ocean gets real.

What is EcoForm Blend™ fabric made of, and how is it sustainable?

EcoForm Blend™ is our custom mix of recycled nylon and elastane. In simple terms — it’s fabric made from things like repurposed fishing nets, factory off-cuts, and post-consumer waste that would otherwise end up in landfill or the ocean. We give those materials a second life, spinning them into swimwear that’s silky-soft, saltwater-strong, and built to last. By using recycled fibers, we cut down on virgin plastic production and keep waste out of the sea — so you can feel good about what’s on your skin and what’s not in the water.

How does the RealForm Sculpt™ fit enhance movement?

RealForm Sculpt™ is all about support without restriction. Instead of the stiff, “sausage-casing” fit a lot of bikinis rely on, our design maps to natural curves and muscle lines. That means your swimwear holds you in where you want it, but still flexes with every paddle, twist, and stretch. The result? A sculpted, flattering fit that moves like you do — no pinching, no pulling, just flow.

How should I care for my Hi Betty swimwear to ensure its longevity?

Treat your bikini like your board — rinse it after every session. Salt, chlorine, and sunscreen can all wear down fabric over time, so a quick cold rinse is the easiest way to keep it fresh. Hand wash with a mild soap (no harsh detergents or bleach), and lay it flat in the shade to dry. Skip the dryer and avoid wringing — heat and twisting are fabric killers. With a little love, your Hi Betty pieces will stay soft, strong, and ready for endless waves.

Is Hi Betty swimwear suitable for both surfing and general beachwear?

100%. Our pieces are surf-tested, which means if they can handle wipeouts, duck dives, and long sessions in the lineup, they’ll more than handle a beach day. The bonus? They don’t look like hardcore surf gear — sleek cuts, elevated colors, and flattering fits mean you can go from catching waves to catching up with friends on the sand without missing a beat. Orders & Shipping

How long will it take for my Hi Betty order to arrive?

We ship out orders within 1–2 business days. Delivery time depends on where you are:

 

- Within Australia: usually 2–5 business days.

- International: anywhere from 7–14 business days, depending on local carriers and customs.

 

If you’re chasing waves and need your order faster, we also offer an express option at checkout. You’ll get a tracking link as soon as your order’s on its way, so you can follow it from our shore to yours.

How can I track my Hi Betty order?

As soon as your order is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking link in your inbox. Follow your parcel in real time — from our warehouse to your door. If the link gives you any trouble, simply visit our [Returns + Orders page], enter your order number, and all the details will be right there.

Do you ship internationally? What are the associated costs?

Yes — we ship worldwide. Orders over $100 AUD ship free, no matter where you are. For smaller orders, standard international shipping usually runs between $15–$25 AUD depending on location. If you need your bikini in a rush, we’ve got express options at checkout too.

 

Heads up: some countries may charge customs duties or import taxes. These aren’t included in our shipping costs and are the customer’s responsibility if they apply.

 

Every order comes with a tracking link so you can follow your new swimwear from our shore to yours.

What if my order is delayed or lost in transit?

Once your order leaves us, it’s in the hands of the carrier — but don’t worry, we’ve got your back. If your tracking shows a delay, it’s usually just a holdup with customs or local delivery. If your order seems to have gone missing, reach out to us with your order number and we’ll investigate with the carrier.

 

In the rare case a parcel is confirmed lost, we’ll either replace your order  or issue you a refund.

Can I change or cancel my order after it's been placed?

We get it — sometimes you change your mind. If your order hasn’t shipped yet, shoot us your order number as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to update or cancel it.

 

Once your parcel has left our hands, we can’t make changes — but you can always start a return once it arrives.

What is Hi Betty's return policy?

We’ve got a 30-day return window from the day your order arrives. To be eligible, your swimwear just needs to be unworn, with tags still attached, and in its original packaging.

 

Instead of emailing us, just click through to our [Returns Page] with your order number and follow the steps. Once we’ve got your return, you can choose a refund or store credit.

How do I initiate a return or exchange?

Head to our [Returns Page], enter your order number, and follow the steps. Once we receive your item back in its original condition, you can choose a refund, store credit, or an exchange for a different size or style.

Can I exchange an item for a different size or style?

Yes — if the piece you ordered isn’t quite right, you can swap it for a different size or style (as long as it’s in stock). Just start the process through our [Returns Page] and select “Exchange” as your option. Once we get your original item back in its original condition, we’ll ship out your new one.

Are shipping costs for returns covered by Hi Betty?

Yes — we’ve got you covered. Return shipping is free, and if you’re exchanging for a different size or style, we’ll cover the cost of sending your new item out too.

How long does it take to process a return or exchange?

Once your return reaches us, we usually process it within 3–5 business days. Refunds are sent back to your original payment method, but depending on your bank it may take a few extra days to show up.

 

For exchanges, we’ll ship your new item as soon as your return is processed and you’ll get a fresh tracking link straight to your inbox.
